We will now pass you over to wedding planner Bulles & Compagnie who will be walking us through today’s Chateau de Bagnols Real Wedding…
“Rebecca and Piers met when they began working together five years ago in London. They began dating on a free phone chat line and the rest, as they say, is history!
Our bride Rebecca: “For our first holiday we went on a road trip from London to St Tropez. Chateau de Bagnols was one of the places that we stayed and we immediately fell in love with the beautiful historic venue and stunning surroundings. The medieval style and gardens full of lavender made for a truly romantic setting and we decided that there was nowhere else we could imagine for our wedding day. The chateau is so stunning yet relaxed with breathtaking views and holds equally beautiful memories for us personally.”
“As soon as Bulles & Compagnie began helping to plan the couples dream wedding, she was able to recommend excellent suppliers including a talented pianist for the ceremony, lighting and AV experts, hair and makeup artists and many more.”
“The couple dreamed of a romantic French style wedding, with both rustic and modern elements and personal touches. They chose a natural colour scheme of lavenders, grey and rose. They kept flower choices very relaxed and included lots of lavender to complement the chateau’s beautiful ‘Allée des Lavandes’.”
“Many of the 100 guests traveled from the UK and the couple wanted to make sure they had the best time possible! There was a real holiday atmosphere, with an outdoor ceremony, cocktails and canapes in the gardens while an acoustic band played in the background.”
“Rebecca’s stunningly detailed dress was made by the designer INBAL DROR, purchased at ‘Morgan Davies’ in London. The bridesmaids wore matching lavender coloured dresses from The Dessy Group. The bride and her bridesmaids all wore fresh flowers in their hair to add a rustic and romantic element to the look.”
“The wedding day started with an early evening ceremony in the chateaus gardens. With the evening sun shining, a fountain trickling and a live pianist playing in the background, the scene was perfect as the guests took their seats and the bride made her entrance before celebrating with lots of lavender confetti!”
“The party enjoyed champagne and canapes in the sunny aromatic gardens overlooking the stunning French countryside, with the band playing acoustic music in the background.”
“The chateau recommended the talented florist Antoinette from Fleurs de Fee. Antoinette had so many creative ideas and brought a romantic and French style to the decoration, she designed and provided the flowers and candles, the stunning floral wedding arch, table decorations, menus and rustic wooden way-finders.”
“The guests took their places for dinner in the grand Salles des Gardes and the couple were greeted with loud cheers and a toast of champagne before the delicious dinner began. The groom, Best Man and Father of the Bride gave the traditional English speeches throughout the evening – all of which were heart-warming, emotional and at times, very funny!”
“There were pretty touches such as sparkly lavender macaroons, fun elements like a DIY photobooth and a sweet table with traditional English treats.”
“The couple and their friends love to party and Piers had lots of ideas for a nightclub style party with lighting, lasers, a really lively band ‘The 101s’ and a great DJ to end the night with a bang!”
“Rebecca was determined to find the perfect photographer for the day and instantly knew she had when she found ‘M and J Photography’ – they captured moments in a natural, romantic and relaxed way which was exactly what the couple were looking for.”
“The after-party was an important part of the night for the couple – they love to party with their friends and family and true to their word, everyone partied until the early hours of the morning enjoying the amazing live band, DJ and fantastic atmosphere! The next morning, to perk everyone up after a rather late night, the couple hosted a relaxed outdoor brunch. Shaded by lime trees, everyone enjoyed a buffet of French food with plenty of local rosé wine and spent the afternoon relaxing in the sunshine around the chateau’s stunning roman pool.”
