Nicole and Jamie’s Journey to “I Do”
In 2014, Nicole and Jamie’s unexpected meeting on Instagram sparked a passionate romance that spanned continents. They welcomed two children, infusing their daily lives with love, laughter, travel, and music. Their journey filled with memorable adventures led them to a heartfelt wedding in the South of France.
Now, for their first anniversary, Nicole and Jamie are excited to return to Domaine de Tarbouriech to celebrate the beautiful life they’ve created together.
Choosing the Perfect French Wedding Venue
Planning a wedding from abroad can be daunting, but Nicole and Jamie had a clear vision of what they wanted: a wedding venue by the water, accessible yet secluded, and surrounded by nature. Their search led them to the stunning Domaine Tarbouriech in Occitanie. The estate’s proximity to water, vineyard surroundings, and space flexibility—perfect for an outdoor dinner by the pool and dancing in a fabulous pool house—ticked all their boxes. The decision was a testament to their desire for a setting as beautiful and adventurous as their lives together.
Styling Their Day at Domaine Tarbouriech
Set in the charming oyster region of France, the wedding beautifully integrated local elements, giving the decor a mix of natural and modern vibes. They used oyster shells as unique place settings, connecting the decor to the local area. Marion from Gama Events designed the decor with a soft, romantic, but also modern look. The tables had broken stones and sleek table runners on top of clean tablecloths, creating a contemporary feel. To match the black-tie dress code, they added peaches to the color scheme, bringing a fresh burst of color that was ahead of the next year’s trend. The ceremony area was also carefully planned, with single-stem roses growing from the ground to enhance the natural elegance of the day.
The Soundtrack of Their Love
Music played a pivotal role in their celebration, starting with a poignant instrumental version of “We Have All the Time” by the City of Prague Philharmonic for the bridal entrance.
The ceremony exit song was marked by Louis Armstrong’s soulful rendition of the same song, symbolizing their timeless bond.
The first dance was uniquely accompanied by a live saxophone rendition of INXS’s “Never Tear Us Apart” followed by a joyful shift to “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire, setting an upbeat tone for the evening.
