Château les Crostes
PremiumChâteau les Crostes
PremiumChâteau les Crostes is a working 200-hectare wine estate near the village of Lorgues in the Var, at the centre of Provence's celebrated rosé country where limestone soils, Mediterranean sun, and mistral wind produce some of France's most sought-after pink wines. The 17th-century buildings sit among forests, olive groves, and a lily-covered lake, surrounded by the rolling green hills that distinguish the inland Var from the flatter Rhône plain further west. Ceremonies and receptions unfold among the vines themselves, with estate-produced rosé poured throughout the celebration, connecting every glass to the terroir visible from every terrace. This is a venue where the winemaking calendar shapes the atmosphere: harvest energy in September, dormant vine beauty in winter, bright green shoots in spring.
Twelve bedrooms sleep 28 guests on-site, and the estate offers amenities including tennis, pétanque, a spa, gym, hot tub, and a grand piano. The 200-hectare grounds provide genuine seclusion, with forest walks and olive groves extending far beyond the event spaces. Couples can arrange vineyard tours and tastings as part of a weekend programme, giving guests a deeper connection to Provençal wine culture.
