Are you planning your Bordeaux wedding? If so we think you’ll love the array of ideas and suppliers included in today’s feature. We’ll now pass you over to photographer Sorya Pedoussaut who will be walking us through this stylish elopement in Bordeaux…
We really love the idea of an elopement and for that, we know the perfect place to plan one if you decide to get married in the Bordeaux region. Les Sources de Caudalie and the Château Smith Haut Lafitte are true gems, you’ll be amazed by the charm and the tranquility of those places, for an instant you’re stepping into a world where everything is an invitation for relaxation and well-being.
In our composition we envisioned our bride and groom eloping in this romantic vineyard setting, an important component was to bring a touch of glamour and luxury. Our team styled the bride with three different gowns from pre-wedding ceremony to the ceremony, each one of them carefully selected to match the atmosphere of Les Sources de Caudalie which has more of a boho chic style and the Château Smith Haut Lafitte which is more classy and delicate. The invitation suite followed the same idea as we wanted to have two different styles for both venues.
The dinner table and cake were set in the garden, we loved the idea of an “al fresco” dinner, what is more romantic than experiencing dinner with your guest under the stars as witness?
The ceremony took place in the terrace garden of Château Smith Haut Lafitte under a beautiful flowery round arch and you can spot on the bride’s arm the little owlet who was supposed to bring the ring but the strong wind that day decided otherwise.
The cherry on top of the cake was to bring on board the magnificent eagle, symbol of freedom and majesty just as we wanted our couples spirit to be. The eagle, falcon, owls all of them were truly the highlight of the day but of course their comfort and well-being were our priority.
I really hope it can inspire couples from all over the world to come and experience all the best that France has to offer.
