There’s something utterly magical about autumn in the French countryside. The light turns golden, the air becomes crisp, and the landscape transforms into a canvas of amber, burgundy, and rust. A team of passionate creatives gathered to bring to life a whimsical wedding editorial at Manoir de Vacheresses that captures the very essence of fall romance.
A Reunion of Floral Artistry at Manoir de Vacheresses
The story begins with a reunion. After hosting a successful floral workshop together in France, the talented minds behind Capucine Atelier and Dogwood & Fir knew their creative journey wasn’t finished. Their shared vision? To create something truly extraordinary—a lush, maximalist yet undeniably chic wedding editorial that would embrace all the warm, rich hues of autumn.
Joining forces with Estelle from Madame Wedding Design, they discovered the perfect canvas for their artistic expression: Manoir de Vacheresses, a breathtaking 13th-century estate nestled in Nogent-Le-Roi, just a short drive from Paris.
A Medieval Backdrop with Timeless Charm outside of Paris
If you’re dreaming of a venue that whispers stories from centuries past, Manoir de Vacheresses might just steal your heart. This medieval gem, lovingly restored by owners Frédérique and Philippe, offered the creative team an abundance of inspiration—from original 13th-century doors and winding staircases to a charming pigeon tower standing proudly on the grounds.
What made the setting even more perfect? The ancient apple trees surrounding the enchanting aqueduct were heavy with fruit, adding a touch of organic whimsy that seemed almost too perfect to be real. Nature herself seemed to have styled this corner of the property specifically for our autumn celebration.
A Modern Bride of Strength and Grace
For the bridal look, the team envisioned someone who embodied both power and delicacy—a modern woman with timeless appeal. Top Bridal Paris provided exactly what they were looking for: a structured strapless corset gown featuring a dramatic jumbo bow that cascaded elegantly down the back. This architectural masterpiece struck that perfect balance between boldness and romance.
The model Chihiro’s natural beauty was enhanced by makeup artist Chloe Robin, who created a clean, radiant complexion that felt effortlessly bridal. The result was breathtaking—a bride who appeared both regal and approachable against the historic stone walls of the Manoir.
Whimsical Floral Poetry & Sweet Details
Floral design wove enchanting magic at the heart of this editorial. Like fairy-tale gardeners, Capucine Atelier and Dogwood & Fir conjured living art from delicate petals and stems. Rare Copper Vienna chrysanthemums became their stunning focal point. These blooms paired beautifully with warm-toned garden roses—Cappuccino, Mocca, Vuvuzela, and Juliette. Vanda orchids, Clematis, and Dahlias completed the seasonal palette.
Madame Wedding Design’s tablescapes evoked Dutch Master paintings. Patterned linens and apple accents complemented the cascading flowers. Monannie Cakes contributed edible artistry featuring a sugar bow that echoed the bride’s gown. Their lifelike sugar flowers mirrored the real blooms throughout the shoot.
This wedding editorial at Manoir de Vacheresses celebrated artistic collaboration while capturing autumn’s timeless romance. Every element worked in perfect harmony among the medieval walls—just as we hope for your own wedding day.
