Kaitlynn and Alec’s Cross-Cultural Connection
Though they worked at different companies in the same industry, Kaitlynn and Alec’s paths were destined to cross. After their first meeting, Alec found reasons to visit her workplace, leading to a first date where they discovered surprising parallels in their lives – both spoke Spanish, had foreign parents, and even shared the coincidence of fathers who drove Raptors. Their relationship flourished naturally, and in February 2022, Alec chose a meaningful spot on Lake Tahoe’s pier – a place from their early dating days – to ask Kaitlynn to marry him.
