About the Venue

Château La Tour Vaucros, located in the heart of Provence, is a stunning wedding venue with a rich history dating back to the 11th century. Originally built by the Templiers, the castle has played a mystical and cultural role in the region. Rebuilt in the 16th and 17th centuries, it became a center for mystical, philosophical, and cultural encounters under Dom Pernety in the 18th century.

Ideally located just a short drive from Avignon, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the château is perfectly situated for exploring all the wonderful activities Provence has to offer. The beautifully restored estate includes manicured gardens, elegant reception areas, and picturesque outdoor spaces perfect for ceremonies and celebrations. Couples can enjoy exclusive use of the property, ensuring privacy and intimacy for their special day.

Accommodation & Amenities

Accommodation: Château La Tour Vaucros offers luxurious accommodation for 49 guests, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. The estate includes a variety of charming and elegantly appointed rooms and suites, each thoughtfully designed to reflect the traditional Provençal style with contemporary amenities, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Guests can choose from several beautifully restored buildings, including:

At extra cost, there is a charming villa attached to the venue, Le Moulin de Vaucroze, that can welcome an extra 30 people, allowing the grounds to accommodate a total of 80 people, including the two properties.

Amenities: The chateau boasts a range of exceptional amenities to enhance the wedding experience. The expansive grounds feature beautifully manicured gardens perfect for outdoor ceremonies and receptions. Guests can relax by the two large heated swimming pools or take a leisurely stroll through the estate’s picturesque pathways. The property also includes multiple indoor/outdoor reception areas designated for cocktails and reception, as well as a beautiful castle courtyard. The chateau offers a fully equipped kitchen, a tennis court, a private parking for 170 ppl, and a dedicated team to assist with event planning, ensuring every detail is perfectly executed for an unforgettable stay.

The venue provides lighting (fairy lights, lamps, chandelier and spotlights), free wifi access, video projector.

Getting there

From Paris: Take a TGV train from Paris Gare de Lyon to Avignon TGV Station (2 hours 40 minutes). From Avignon, it’s a 20-minute drive to Château La Tour Vaucros. Alternatively, fly from Paris to Marseille Provence Airport (1 hour 20 minutes) and drive 1 hour to the chateau.

From London: Fly from Heathrow, Gatwick, or Stansted to Marseille Provence Airport (2 hours). Then, drive 1 hour to the chateau. Alternatively, take the Eurostar from London St Pancras to Avignon TGV Station (6 hours), followed by a 20-minute drive.
