With summer behind us we thought now was the perfect time to bring a little spring prettiness to the blog with today’s Palace of Versailles wedding.
From blooming magnolia trees to pretty sweet peas in our bride’s bouquet, this gorgeous Palace of Versailles Wedding even includes a romantic boat ride. Our bride Karen wore a couture off the shoulder gown created by Handmade With Love  which she paired with statement accessories by Della Bella Gioielli.
We particularly love Karen and David’s elegant wedding stationery suite created by Ivy Cousin Graphic Designer  which set the scene wonderfully for this elegant day! We’ll now pass you over to Daria Lorman Photography  who will be walking us through this dreamy elopement…
Karen and David are both visual creatives who put in a theater. They live in the center of Paris, so they have a different look at Paris than most of the destination couples who elope in the city of love. They were dreaming about an intimate and special elopement without the Eiffel Tower or something too obvious that would show the Parisian vibes straight away as France is not only Paris. At the same time they didn’t want to go to far from Paris. So they’ve chosen Versailles, and more precisely Versailles Gardens with both a very French Chateau and English Countryside vibe at the same time.
It’s always a pleasure to work for a couple who cares more about how their wedding day will match their own dreams than somebody’s expectations.
While some brides would be upset with clouds on their wedding day, we were actually lucky with the foggy weather that definitely added something special to these elopement photos. The gardens were full of blooming magnolias and cherry trees, wisterias and other spring flowers, providing us with the perfect backdrop for an intimate vow exchange. Karen had a beautiful bouquet created for her by Mathieu from L’Atelier Artisan Bouquetier which was as gentle as our bride, with those beautiful garden roses and sweet peas.
Karen is very inspiring and feminine bride. She wore a custom-made off-the-shoulder couture gown with statement earrings from Della Bella Gioielli, talented Swiss bridal jewelry designer. The earrings and the golden hair accessory were created especially for Karen by Della Bella Gioielli to create a complete coherent look with the dress. Karen found a tailor on Instagram who could create for her that perfect dress she had in mind, so she worked with Handmade With Love tailor to create the dress of her dreams: off-the-shoulder, with a bit transparent corset and big ball gown skirt as well as beautiful hand-made embroidery. She looked royal and romantic at the same time.
After taking some photos at the Temple of Love, they stayed true to themselves and couldn’t resist taking a boat ride, which they like to do on their weekend walks together.
The royal little cake with sparkling wine (alcohol free), strawberry, white chocolate flavors by Cakes by Meri  was the perfect sweet note to end the day!
