The château has a long history dating back to before the French Revolution, originally built by the Du Perrier de Larsan family and passed down through several generations. Today, Nathalie Bonnet and her daughter Anouk continue the legacy, infusing modern touches while maintaining its historic essence. The château’s lush park spans several hectares, adorned with century-old magnolias and equipped with leisure amenities like a heated swimming pool, table tennis, and barbecue facilities. From Paris: To reach Château Couffins from Paris, the most efficient way is by train or flight. A train ride from Gare Montparnasse to Bordeaux takes around 2 hours, and from there, it’s a short 25-minute drive to the château. Alternatively, flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport to Bordeaux-Mérignac airport take approximately 1.5 hours. If driving, take the A10 motorway from Paris towards Bordeaux, and use exit 41 for St. Vincent de Paul, crossing the Eiffel bridge before following the signs for Asques.
From London: If you're traveling from London, you have multiple options. Direct flights from major airports like Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, and Luton land at Bordeaux-Mérignac airport. The flight duration is about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, the château is only a 25-minute drive away. Alternatively, you can take the Eurostar from London to Paris, and then follow the route from Gare Montparnasse train route from Paris to Bordeaux.
